I don’t do birthdays, I do birthmonths. I’ve eaten 31 veggie burgers (awesome), I’ve attempted to lose 32 pounds (not so awesome) and this year, I’m drinking 33 beers (totally beyond awesome).

Once I complete this birthmonth project, I should be about half way to getting my name on the wall at Flying Saucer, that is, half way to the goal of 200 different beers. It’s been two years since I started working on this, and this year I have resolved to finally accomplish this worthy feat (I’m all for attainable new year’s resolutions).

Seems like a lot of beer, doesn’t it? Don’t worry, I only drink when I’m alone or with other people. To that end, I will be inviting a few of my favorite Kansas Citians to join me on this journey.

I love beer, and I’m really looking forward to sharing this experience with friends and family. I love beer, and I’m really looking forward to documenting the feelings each beer and each conversation bring about. I love beer, but I think I already mentioned that.
